LOL I think it's because we hate the thought of having to put something so big we wrote into so few words :P I don't know about you but I also always hit a blank when people ask me what my books are about.
Whenever people ask what my book is about, I mutter something very ridiculous and probably incoherent, and then feel TERRIBLY embarrassed about it later on :D. I probably should think of a quick (and coherent :P) answer for that question at some point ...
Book descriptions are my bane! I've rewritten mine more times than I can count. You've given great tips here, though, that should help me out. Thanks, Hazel!
Very informative! I love learning specific ways to improve my book creation techniques, and this is a helpful and fun video.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad it helped :) It really is the worst part of writing lol.
DeleteBook description is something I'm TERRIBLE at (why does it seem like most writers have this problem?), so thank you for posting this! <3

Haha, well with Blood Ties I usually go with "warriors who drive fast cars and hot goblins" :P Sometimes that's all you need ;)

ReplyDeleteI used to rewrite them about twenty times, but once I kind of figured out how to do it, I've gotten down to about 3 to 5 haha :) Glad this helped!
