Editing with Your Kindle with Kendra E. Ardnek

Hello! I have another video for you guys, this time just me, talking about my kindles. And how you can use your kindles to save on paper in the editing stage.

Enjoy!

Don't have a kindle? Julie C. Gilbert is currently giving away a Kindle Paperwhite! The paperwhite is what I use, and it is AMAZING.

  1. Ooh, I never thought about using a Kindle for editing - that's a neat idea! Thanks for sharing, Kendra ;).

  2. I was looking forward to this video. I want to try this method sometime. Is there an easy way of transferring the notes from Kindle to computer?

    1. The notes that you leave go into a separate file that, I'm told, you can easily transfer to your computer, you just have to hook it up by USB. I don't know about reading those notes, though.

It's also advised that you use the highlight method if you do this, so that you know what you were commenting on.

    2. That makes sense. I'll have to try that soon. I do like my Kindle.

  3. Aw, I used to have the second Kindle you showed. It doesn't work anymore, unfortunately :/ I love the ones with a physical keyboard on them! I should probably purchase another, although I'm curious how this would work on a Kindle app (all I currently use).

I just started emailing things to my Kindle app and it's been awesome! My mind was totally blown when I learned you could do that.

I've never had much luck leaving notes on my Kindle and being able to find them again :P I'll have to experiment and get better at it ;)
