Knowing that because of me, at least two people have gained the courage to pick up the pen and return to writing (there's another lady who commented on one of my posts about two years ago) gives me courage to continue you to use mine.

It was my sister who taught me to consider my characters as real people. She always has, and I just thought it the thing to do when it came to those imaginary people. Hers are infinitely more real to her than mine are to me, but that's okay, since our imaginations work differently (which we'll get into in the Ooladada series). Worldbuilding is my strength, something I've always enjoyed and probably always will.

Ah, and yes, I've had my lot of setbacks, terrible bouts of writer's block, the like. I think the only reason I'm an author today is the fact that, at eleven, I decided to write that play that became book two of the Rizkalands. No, we never did perform it, but it taught me to stick with a writing project until it was done, to come back and rewrite it when I wasn't satisfied. Once I finish with WPFP, I'll focus in on its (hopfully) final rewrite, and see if I can get it published within the next two years. Ah, but that will be a glorious feeling!Kendra E. It...*Blush* Aww, thanks, Kendra! I needed that....

It's good to know that what little I've done on the blogosphere has been encouraging to you. It was actually your CEs and the way you write about your Characters on your blog--like they're real people who just happen to live in your head--that helped me begin to "go deeper" with my own Characters, and your World-building posts that inspired me to put more thought into the worlds they live in. :-D So thank you for sharing your writing adventures; in a way you've been part of my return to authorship. Also, the fact that you have actually finished and published several books, in spite of some (at times, I'm sure) frustrating setbacks...well, it encourages me that, "If she can do it, so can I!"

Belated Happy Thanksgiving, girlie!
God bless, and happy writing,
~"Tom Wild Rose"~
TomWildRosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12914330705701940882noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7618645909538172709.post-82799882031754428662014-11-27T14:30:07.638-06:002014-11-27T14:30:07.638-06:00I love you too, Kendra!
