The first four months were before I started writing, and the remaining two months happened during the fixing/filling-in-holes process. :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11127790512575051168noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7618645909538172709.post-24912328371774724302017-03-23T14:40:13.433-05:002017-03-23T14:40:13.433-05:00How long did you spend on research for The Old Riv...How long did you spend on research for The Old River Road? If I remember correctly, I had a list of potential titles for the book. Left to Die was not my first choice--I thought it was too harsh and scary sounding. But after talking with my mom, she helped me realize that the story is not something that needs to be sugar coated. It needs to be harsh and scary in a way. While the story itself is far from scary, it revolves around a harsh social problem that doesn't need to be softened by a sugary title. :)

Thank you for the question!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11127790512575051168noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7618645909538172709.post-4834843722711281152017-03-22T20:41:37.213-05:002017-03-22T20:41:37.213-05:00What gave you the idea for Left To Die, Ivy?
