Glad you enjoyed.

Um, let me think

BEFORE PUBLICATION I shared progress updates on my blog and social media. This informed a lot of people and reminded them I was writing a book. I also did a cover reveal to generate more widespread interest. Aaaand, I did began a 8 day blog tour on release day.

AFTER PUBLICATION: I've done two book signings locally. Even the people who don't come inside see my sign at the event and fliers around town, and that's good exposure. I've done the 1 Like = 1 Fact game on social media and my blog. I try to share any monumental things about the content like the characters' birthdays. I've run the one e-book sale so far and even sent out a newsletter to announce that so people would know (and I sold 18, so it must have worked!).

Marketing is really hard for me, because I don't feel like it's natural! "I should share that with everyone" is not my first thought, but I'm starting to think like that more. It seems like there's less to share now that I'm published and not still discovering things about the book. But I have it on Goodreads and my links to Amazon all over the place. SO ... just keep talking about it ;)

Great question!

Abigayle Clairehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01182504899939054458noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7618645909538172709.post-12167859605989495672017-03-23T09:18:25.842-05:002017-03-23T09:18:25.842-05:00Of course! I'm curious as to how you did it, seeing as you self published.

~ Savannah
scattered-scribblings.blogspot.comSavannah Gracehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16668452024211579085noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7618645909538172709.post-29196704379037063612017-03-22T20:22:26.843-05:002017-03-22T20:22:26.843-05:00So I've heard a bit about your publication jou...So I've heard a bit about your publication journey, since I followed your blog and all, but I quite enjoyed reading it in full-ish here.
